This tour begins with a drive across the Golden Gate Bridge to Sausalito. Browse and shop in this charming hillside town, best known for its Riviera-like atmosphere, as well as for its artist and houseboat communities.
We continue on to Muir Wood National Monument and its spectacular forest of millennium-old California Coast Redwoods, the tallest of all living things. You will walk among these enduring giants - nearly 45 times taller than the size of a person - the silent relics of a distant past.
We will also see Mt. Tamalpais and stop at the Muir Beach Overlook for a breathtaking view of the Pacific Coast Highway.
Enjoy a scenic drive through the Marin Headlands, a secluded oasis of meadows, woodlands and rugged cliffs, for a splendid photo opportunity above the Golden Gate Bridge, with unequalled views of the downtown San Francisco skyline.
